Among the many blessings and roses God has showered upon our Carmel last year, we received a new postulant,
- Jennifer Hernandez -
on the feast of St. Therese, October 1st, 2011.
With much prayers and loving support
from her family and her Parish -
St. Brigid Catholic Church in Hanford,
Jennifer happily responded to God's Call
to enter Carmel; and we welcomed her
with an indescribable joy.
It was truly a grace-filled
and beautiful day for all of us!

St. Teresa of Jesus
The Feast Day of Our Holy Mother,
St. Teresa of Jesus, is always a day that brings much joy and happiness to our Carmelite family. But this year it was an extra special day because we welcomed our extended Carmelite family,
Fr. Philip, Fr. Bernard, and Fr. David,
to join us in celebrating this beautiful occasion.
We each enjoyed a very delicious breakfast, where we were also able to share with one another many moments of smiles and laughter.
Plenty of great memories were made that day
in honor of Our Holy Mother.
